A Restoration Technician can include activities such as demolition (blow off some steam)deconstruction (channel that steam into critical thinking and careful action), construction cleaning (satisfyingly zen), emergency flood response (heroes to the rescue) restorative drying (flex that brain muscle), fire and smoke damage clean up (no 2 jobs are exactly the same), contents cleaning, moving and storage (ditch the gym membership and get paid to stay in shape). Drywaller Repair Technician

A Drywall Repair Technician will produce high quality drywall finishes with the skillset to install backing and patch in drywall (often at 2' height), repair tape seams, ventilation holes and cracks, smooth imperfections on walls and ceilings.

Restorative Drying (Water Damage) Technician

A Restorative Drying (Water Damage) Technician will combine experience / training and apply skill / critical thinking to restoring residential, multi family and commercial property after flood and water damage. The objective is to dry the property with limited disruption of building and finish materials and to prevent the occurrence of mould. Applying creative drying techniques, selective deconstruction identification and accurate, consistent project documentation is key to a successful and fulfilling career.

Project Coordinator

A Project Coordinator’s primary responsibility will be to prepare and execute the overall construction work plan and schedule. As well as;

  • Prepare and participate in meetings with customers, subcontractors, project team, building inspectors and consultants.
  • Coordinate deficiencies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain project awareness in order to keep Project Manager and others informed about status and potential project issues.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with trades
  • Client service and customer focus to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers.

 

The Project Coordinator requires strong communication skills and an ability to multitask and must also ensure that everyone involved in a project is kept informed about all aspects of it, from start to finish. The project coordinator technical skills are very essential to succeed.

Qualifications
