Content & Restoration Cleaning Technician

Key Responsibilities 

Your main focus will be detailed cleaning and contents management for properties affected by water, fire, mold, and other damage. You’ll be: 

  • Cleaning contents and structures with precision and care.
  • Document and catalog restorable and non-restorable contents.
  • Packing, moving, and storing personal belongings securely.
  • Deodorizing and restoring items after smoke or fire damage.
  • Working both on-site at customer properties and in our warehouse.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Participating in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.
  • Willing to jump in and help in other departments when needed.

What We’re Looking For 

We care more about your attitude and drive than your past experience: 

  • Attention to detail and pride in your work.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Class 5 driver’s licence (required) and a clean driving record.
  • Self-starter who works well independently or as part of a team.
  • Open to working in a variety of environments, including tight spaces or outdoors.

Bonus if you have experience with:

  • Restoration or construction
  • Health & safety certifications
  • Contents handling and cleaning

Restorative Drying (Water Damage) Technician

Total Restoration Services Inc is an award winning, independent and locally owned flood and fire restoration company specializing in (24/7) emergency response, drying, remediation and reconstruction services. 

Restorative Drying (Water Damage) Technician will combine experience / training and apply skill / critical thinking to restoring residential, multi family and commercial property after flood and water damage. The objective is to dry the property with limited disruption of building and finish materials and to prevent the occurrence of mould. Applying creative drying techniques, selective deconstruction identification and accurate, consistent project documentation is key to a successful and fulfilling career.

  • Must have a valid class 5 drivers license.

Your experience/certifications of the following will increase your negotiable wage:

  • Drivers license with drivers abstract - must have a valid class 5 license.
  • Construction/Restoration experience.
  • IICRC certifications.
  • Health & safety training and certifications.
  • Basic hand tools and steel toed boots.
